Terms of Service

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Ever Lasting Sobriety website, our application process, and — if you're accepted — your membership in our program. Please read them carefully.

Effective May 21, 2026.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website, submitting an application, creating an account, or participating in the Ever Lasting Sobriety program, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or apply.

2. Who may use Ever Lasting Sobriety

Ever Lasting Sobriety provides structured sober-living residences for adult men. You must be at least 18 years old to apply or use this site. By applying, you confirm you meet our admission criteria and that the information you provide is true and complete.

3. Applications and admission

Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. We review each application and admit residents at our discretion, subject to eligibility, bed availability, and program fit. We verify the information submitted. Providing false or misleading information is grounds for denial or, if discovered after admission, immediate removal. We may decline any application or request additional information before making a decision.

4. Membership, not tenancy

Ever Lasting Sobriety is a voluntary, transitional residential recovery program. If you are accepted, you become a member of the program — not a tenant. You are not entering a lease, and your participation does not create a landlord-tenant relationship. You are not entitled to the rights or protections that a tenant would have under Massachusetts (or other applicable state) landlord-tenant law.

Membership is conditioned on your continued compliance with our house rules and code of conduct. As described in our house manual, certain violations — including any use or possession of alcohol or drugs, violence or threats, weapons, theft, or refusal to test — may result in immediate removal from the residence without prior notice and without refund of prepaid rent, fees, or deposits.

5. House rules

Residents receive and must agree to the Ever Lasting Sobriety manual and house rules at intake. Those rules are incorporated into these terms by reference and govern day-to-day life in the residence, including curfews, drug and alcohol testing, visitor policies, chores, fees, and grounds for removal. We may update the house rules from time to time; continued residency constitutes acceptance of the current rules.

6. Fees and payment

  • Residents are responsible for paying rent, fees, and any charges on time, as set out at intake and in the house manual.
  • Online card payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. By paying online you also agree to Stripe's terms. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Deposits, prepaid rent, and fees are non-refundable if you are removed for a rule violation or leave before any minimum stay, except as required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
  • Outstanding balances may be deducted from your deposit and must be paid before retrieving belongings or reapplying.

7. Accounts

Resident-portal and case-manager accounts are for the use of the individual they're issued to. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that are misused or that violate these terms.

8. Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to:

  • Submit false applications or impersonate another person
  • Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you're not authorized to use
  • Interfere with, probe, or disrupt the site or its security
  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose

9. Not medical or treatment services

Ever Lasting Sobriety is a sober-living residence. We do not provide medical care, detox, clinical treatment, or psychiatric services, and nothing on this site is medical advice. Residents are responsible for their own healthcare through their own providers. If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, call 911. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).

10. No guarantee of outcomes

Recovery depends on many factors outside our control. We make no guarantee or warranty regarding sobriety, recovery, or any particular result from participating in our program.

11. Intellectual property

The Ever Lasting Sobriety name, logo, website, and content are owned by Ever Lasting Sobriety and protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our permission, except as needed to use the site for its intended purpose.

12. Third-party services and links

The site relies on third-party providers (for example, hosting, security, payment processing, and address lookup) and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for third-party services or sites we do not control, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

The website and our services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ever Lasting Sobriety and its operators, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising out of your use of the site, the application process, or the program. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ever Lasting Sobriety and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your violation of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, unless otherwise required by law. Grievances related to your residency are handled through the process described in our house manual and, where applicable, through MASH (the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing).

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Effective" date above. Your continued use of the site or program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
