What we expect from every member

1 · Sobriety

1. 1 No alcohol, drugs, or non-prescribed medication on the premises or in your system — ever. Zero tolerance.
2. 2 Random drug and alcohol testing occurs 1–3 times per week. A positive result, dilute sample, or refusal to test is treated as a positive.
3. 3 Any use off-premises still results in a positive test and immediate discharge. No exceptions for "just once."
4. 4 Prescribed medications (including MAT — Suboxone, Vivitrol, methadone) must be disclosed at intake and stored per staff instruction.

2 · Daily structure

1. 1 Complete your daily check-in through the member portal every day before 10:00 PM.
2. 2 Attend house meetings on the scheduled evenings — attendance is required and tracked.
3. 3 Complete your assigned chore each day. Chore rotations are posted weekly.
4. 4 Beds must be made and personal areas kept reasonably clean. Weekly room inspection.

3 · Recovery meetings

1. 1 Members in their first 90 days: five outside recovery meetings per week (AA, NA, SMART, Celebrate Recovery, or equivalent).
2. 2 After 90 days: three outside meetings per week minimum.
3. 3 Log each outside meeting through the portal. Signed slips accepted as backup.
4. 4 Get a sponsor within the first 30 days. Contact info shared with your case worker.

4 · Curfew

1. 1 Sunday through Thursday: back in the house by 11:00 PM.
2. 2 Friday and Saturday: back in the house by midnight (12:00 AM).
3. 3 Missing curfew without approval is a disciplinary action. Two missed curfews in 30 days = disciplinary review.
4. 4 Overnight passes require staff approval at least 24 hours in advance via the pass-request form in the portal.

5 · Employment & schooling

1. 1 By the end of your second week, you must have a job, be actively job-hunting daily, be enrolled in school or a certification program, or be in an outpatient treatment program full-time.
2. 2 Members who lose employment must resume job-hunting the next morning and check in with staff daily until re-employed.
3. 3 Members job-hunting will be expected to leave the house each weekday morning as if going to work.

6 · Visitors

1. 1 All visitors must be pre-approved through the visitor-request form in the portal at least 24 hours in advance.
2. 2 Visitors sign in at the front door and stay in common areas only. No visitors in bedrooms.
3. 3 Visiting hours: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily.
4. 4 No overnight guests. No exceptions.
5. 5 Visitors under the influence, or who bring contraband on the property, will be trespassed and the sponsoring member subject to disciplinary review.

7 · Rent & finances

1. 1 Rent is due weekly, on the schedule agreed at intake. Payment via card on file, cash, or check.
2. 2 Rent more than 3 days late without a staff-approved payment plan is grounds for discharge.
3. 3 No lending or borrowing money between members. This is a firm boundary.
4. 4 Save a portion of every paycheck. Staff will discuss savings goals in your weekly one-on-one.

8 · Conduct & respect

1. 1 No violence, threats, or intimidation. Zero tolerance — immediate discharge and possible trespass notice.
2. 2 No sexual activity between members on the property. No romantic relationships with active members of other Ever Lasting Sobriety houses.
3. 3 Racist, homophobic, or discriminatory language will result in disciplinary action.
4. 4 Anything shared in-house stays in-house. Members' names, stories, and recovery status are confidential.
5. 5 Keep noise reasonable, especially after 10:00 PM. Others are sleeping, working early, or studying.

9 · Property & belongings

1. 1 Do not enter other members' rooms without permission. No touching or borrowing their belongings.
2. 2 Report damage or maintenance issues to staff the same day.
3. 3 You are financially responsible for damage you cause beyond normal wear.
4. 4 Contraband is subject to search and removal at any time. Living here constitutes consent.

10 · Case management

1. 1 One-on-one with your assigned case worker every week. Not optional.
2. 2 Set and review recovery goals monthly.
3. 3 Case workers can share progress notes with your outside sponsor, probation officer, or family only with your written consent.

11 · Discharge

1. 1 Immediate discharge for: positive drug test, violence or threats, contraband on-site, or bringing an unauthorized visitor.
2. 2 Discharge on review for: pattern of missed curfews, missed meetings, unpaid rent, or refusal to participate in case management.
3. 3 Discharged members receive a written notice with reason and any refund calculation. You have 48 hours to collect belongings.
4. 4 Voluntary self-discharge requires 7 days' written notice. Sudden departures may forfeit the current week's rent.
